Bay Trail Winter Beach Walk - Middle Park Beach to Ormond Point + Coffee

Join me for a winter beach walk down the beautiful Bay Trail. We will walk from Middle Park Beach to Ormond Point Lookout, then back to St Kilda Beach for a chat and socialise over coffee, souvlaki, or homemade Greek sweets from Stavros.
This is a stunning beach walk with views across the city and bay. Our walk will be approximately 8km, and is around 1 hour each way.
This walk is rated easy to moderate, it is relatively flat with well maintained trails suitable for most people with a reasonable level of fitness, and we will walk at an easy pace.

Agenda:

We will meet at 2pm at Middle Park Beach, near the picnic tables on the Bay Trail. There is a map, and a photo in the gallery.
We will head off at 2.15pm, and reach Ormond Point by 3pm.
We will walk back to St Kilda beach for a coffee or something to eat, and be back at our meeting spot by 5pm.

If you are travelling via public transport, you can take Tram 12 from Collins St in the CBD and get off at Armstrong St, stop 138, in Middle Park.
Walk down Armstrong St towards the water, and the meeting spot is directly across Beaconsfield Parade. The journey is around 20 mins from the CBD.
