Documentary Night: Future Council and Q&A with director Damon Gameau

Join me for evening to see the inspirational documentary Future Council and a Q&A session with the filmmaker Damon Gameau.

Damon Gameau (That Sugar Film, 2040) takes eight curious and passionate kids on the ultimate school excursion: a road trip across Europe in a vegetable-oil-powered school bus to challenge powerful leaders and seek solutions to our greatest ecological challenges.

This bold and hopeful journey led to the creation of a Future Council: a group of young changemakers working with big business to address climate change and shape a better world.

The Peninsula Cinemas Rosebud is located at 30 Rosebud Parade, Rosebud.

After the film we can head to the nearby Mexican restaurant Sol Agave to have something to eat and chat and make new friends.

• I will meet you at 5.50pm just inside the main entrance to the cinema.
• We can chat together before heading into the cinema at 6.05pm.
• The film will run for 81 mins and the Q & A after the screening will finish at around 8.15pm
• Afterwards we can get something to eat at Sol Agave and enjoy conversation together.

If you are travelling by public transport the 887 and 788 Buses stop at Rosebud Village which is a 4 minute walk from the cinema.
