Lunar New Year Festival and Picnic, Shepparton.

Join me to celebrate Lunar New Year together with the Shepparton Chinese Community at this colourful outdoor festival and picnic.

Enjoy the creativity of live music, lion dances, cultural performances, community stalls and plenty of food stalls and trucks.

Bring a chair or picnic rug for sitting and chatting and come for as long as you like. Everyone is welcome and you can bring a friend or guest.

Agenda:
We’ll meet at 1:00 pm at Queens Gardens, near the corner of Nixon & Welsford Streets, and find a picnic spot together to chat, watch performances and sample food.
The festival runs until 5:00 pm, and you’re welcome to stay as long as you like.

By train: Queens Gardens is approximately a 20-minute walk from Shepparton train station, with taxis available on arrival. If driving it's one hour and fifty minutes north of Melbourne via the M80 Ring Road and street parking is available.
