Phoenix Art Museum-Richard Avedon/Widening the Lens Exhibits

Richard Avedon: Among Creatives highlights the work of one of the most influential photographers of the 20th century, renowned for capturing the vulnerability of celebrity subjects and creative icons. This exhibit is leaving the Phoenix Art Museum the end of this month (May 2025). There is also another photo Widening the Lens: Photography, Ecology, and the Contemporary Landscape which aims to raise renewed ecological awareness through visual representations of the environment, as seen through the photographic lens.

Let's go together and admire and be inspired by the works of other photographers. After the museum we can head to AZ Wilderness Brewery (DTPHX) to discuss the exhibits and enjoy the company of fellow photographers. We will be at the museum approximately from 5-7PM followed by the AZ Wilderness (4 minutes away).

If you want to bring your camera to the museum you can take pictures (but no flash and no tripods).
