Sandy Hook Beach Day via Seastreak Ferry

Join us as we take the Seastreak ferry from East 35th Street for a relaxing summer day at Sandy Hook Beach!
We'll meet before the 8:20 AM departure from the East 35th Street terminal and enjoy a scenic ride across the harbor to Sandy Hook. We'll spend the day at the beach swimming, relaxing, walking, or simply enjoying the ocean breeze before catching the 3:15 PM return ferry (or a later departure if the group decides to stay longer).

Please note that you are responsible for purchasing your own ferry ticket in advance. Be sure to check the Seastreak schedule for current fares, departure times, and travel information before the trip.
Since we'll be spending the day at the beach, please come prepared by bringing essentials such as:

  • Sunblock
  • Plenty of water
  • A beach chair
  • A towel
  • Hat and sunglasses
  • Snacks or lunch (or plan to purchase food if available)
  • Anything else you'll want for a comfortable day in the sun

We'll do our best to stay together, but you're welcome to enjoy the beach at your own pace. Whether you're looking to swim, sunbathe, take a walk, or just unwind, this is a great opportunity to enjoy one of the area's best beaches with fellow meetup members.
