Join us for an evening with economist Mariana Mazzucato at her book launch for The Common Good Economy: How to Make Capitalism Work for Us All, presented by The New School's Institute on Race, Power and Political Economy.

Mazzucato — known for her ideas on the entrepreneurial state and mission-oriented economics — argues that how we achieve collective goals matters as much as the goals themselves. Drawing on real-world examples from water governance to procurement and finance, she lays out a practical "common good compass" for organizing economies around people and planet rather than market failure patchwork. Expect a panel discussion, big ideas, and great conversation with fellow attendees.
