Asakusa Sanja Matsuri Group Hangout! 浅草三社祭 一緒に行こう！
I just moved to Japan recently and would love to make new friends in Tokyo. This weekend is Sanja Matsuri (May 17–19) — one of the biggest and liveliest festivals in Asakusa!
I’m planning to check it out and thought it’d be fun to go together with a chill group. If you enjoy street food, traditional vibes, exploring temples, or just wandering with good company — join in!
I speak both English and Japanese, so don’t worry about the language. Let’s enjoy the matsuri together!
Plan:
• Meet at Asakusa Station around 12:00 PM (noon)
• Lunch together at BL Café (or somewhere nearby!)
• Head to Asakusa Shrine for the festival performances:
Schedule Highlights:
• 2:00 PM — Miko-mai (巫女舞奉奏): graceful shrine maiden dance
• 3:00 PM — Dedication Dance (奉納舞踊): traditional stage performance
• 4:00 PM — Taiko Drums (太鼓奉演): energetic drumming show
→ At Asakusa Shrine Kagura Hall
• 6:30 PM (approx.) — Mikoshi Enters Shrine (本社神輿宮入り): the big finale!

5月18日（土）の浅草・三社祭を一緒に楽しめる、気軽なグループを作りました！
当日の流れ：
• 12時ごろ 浅草駅に集合
• まずはBLカフェ（または近くのカフェ）でランチ
• その後、浅草神社へ移動して、お祭りを楽しみます！
注目のプログラム：
• 14:00 — 巫女舞奉奏：巫女さんの伝統的な舞
• 15:00 — 奉納舞踊：文化的なステージパフォーマンス
• 16:00 — 太鼓奉演：迫力のある和太鼓演奏
→ 会場：浅草神社 神楽殿
• 18:30ごろ — 本社神輿宮入り：クライマックスの見どころ！
