Please complete the prerequisites so that you can spin up our own Blockchain network powered by Hyperledger Fabric v1.0.
The agenda will include -

Blockchain Basics - 30 mins

Understanding Fabric v1.0 architecture - covering Type of Nodes, Transaction execution, Channel creation, Consensus mechanisms- 60 mins

Bring Up your Blockchain network- hands on with guided demo - 60 mins

Blockchain usecases exploration- Open floor for participant inputs/query- 30 mins
In order to complete the hands on please have the following prerequisites installed on your laptops powered by Linux OS/MacBook with self provisioned Internet connectivity-
Prerequisite software:
• Git client
• Go - 1.7 or later (for releases before v1.0, 1.6 or later)
• For MacOS, Xcode must be installed
• Docker - 1.12 or later
• Docker Compose - 1.8.1 or later
• Pip
Those who are not bringing their laptop, will be provided access to a Linux VM on Power Development Platform. However please note there are limited no of instances available, provided on request.
