Let's go check out the the 26th annual Haunted Halsted Halloween Parade, Chicago's biggest Halloween spectacle. Free to watch or even participate! Costume Contest = $4,000 in CASH prizes in 7 categories! COME DRESSED UP IN COSTUME FOR EVEN MORE FUN! We have done this for several years and it is always a lot of fun! This is a joint event with the 1001 Things to See in Chicago group so it is multi-group event!

If you have never seen this parade then you are in for a show. The costumes are always fantastic! One of the 10 Best Halloweens in the US by Fodor’s Travel Guide & voted Redfin’s #3 Best City for Halloween

Part 2 of 2 - We will meet Halsted & Belmont over by Drew's on Halsted 3201 N. Halsted. Meet outside restaurant and we will walk over to nearby Belmont for the start of the parade route to view all of the festivities! (I am scheduling dinner before at Drew's on Halsted as a separate event) We are viewing the parade at a different location this year - more towards the start of the parade~

AFTER THE PARADE WE CAN HIT SOME OF LOCAL NIGHT SPOTS IF YOU ARE UP FOR IT & SOME DO NOT HAVE TO WORK ON WEDNESDAY! SOME OF US TOOK NEXT DAY OFF FROM WORK!!

I am scheduling dinner at Drew's on Halsted BEFORE the Halloween Parade as a separate event from parade, to make it easier for all & since numbers are limited. If you want to join for the dinner as well, please sign up for that here: https://www.meetup.com/exploring-chicago-one-step-at-a-time/events/296816867/
