Let’s keep the tradition alive! Every October, I love celebrating my birthday with my meetup family all month long – and this year we’re heading back to one of the best rooftop spots in Chicago on my actual birthday!

⏰ 5:45–8:30 PM (come when you can!)
📍 The Up Room, 13th Floor – The Robey Hotel (Wicker Park)

🍸 What’s happening:
We’ll catch the sunset from the 13th floor rooftop lounge, sip great cocktails, and enjoy incredible skyline views with the Blue Line trains rolling underneath. The Up Room has both indoor and outdoor seating, so we’ll be cozy no matter the weather.

🎂 Birthday Bonus: My official birthday is 10/22 – but I celebrate all month long, and this rooftop soirée is one of my favorite traditions. Come toast with me if you are able to join!

✨ Important Info:

• Please do NOT mention Meetup or a large group to staff. Just say you’re meeting a friend for a drink at the Up Room. (Otherwise, they may send us to the downstairs bar.)
• We’ll all arrive separately, so they won’t know we’re one group.
• Everyone is responsible for their own tab.
• Light snacks are available upstairs, but plenty of restaurants are nearby for before/after.
• Dress code: business casual.

• Parking: limited metered on Damen, Milwaukee & North Ave; free side streets with some permit zones.
