Did you know Chicago’s first neighborhood garden walk began in the 1950s with the iconic Dearborn Garden Walk? 🌼 Since then, these leafy strolls have blossomed into a true summertime tradition across the city—celebrating community spirit, green spaces, and neighborly creativity.

Now in its 43rd year, the Graceland West Garden Walk proudly continues this legacy!

Come wander through 25+ stunning private and community gardens nestled between Montrose, Clark, Irving Park, and Ashland. 🌺🏡

🗺️ Start at Warner Park & Gardens (1446 W Warner Ave) to pick up your garden walk map and guidebook. Master Gardeners will be on-site to answer your questions, and you'll also find info stations on:
🌼 Prairie restoration
🌳 Urban tree canopies
🌿 Pollinator-friendly gardening

🌿 Tentative Itinerary for Our Meetup Group:
🕐 1:00 PM – Meet & greet at Warner Park. Grab your guidebook & map.
🕙 1:00–5:00 PM – Self-guided garden walk using the official tour map.
📍 Gardens will have visible markers in front, side, or back yards.
🌦️ Don’t miss the pollinator pathway sites—watch rainwater absorption in action!
🍽️ 5:00–6:30 PM – Optional dinner at a local spot like:
