A Day at the Beach

Let’s enjoy a day at the beach!

Hammonasset Beach is one of the top public beaches in the state, with plenty to do for a great time. They also have a volleyball net that we can use to play some competitive games with.

For food, there is an on-site restaurant that serves your typical American and fried seafood options, or you may bring your own as well.

We'll supply bottled water, but you may also bring whatever else you'd like to drink.

Make sure to bring a beach blanket or chair with you, along with sunscreen. And feel free to bring any yard/beach games that you may have.

To get to us, take the first exit at the traffic circle once you pass the park entry booths, towards West Beach Parking, which we'll be parking in Lot A.

Entry and parking is free for vehicles with Connecticut plates, but out of state registered vehicles will be charged $22.

After the beach, we'll be going out to dinner at Lenny & Joe's Fish Tale, which is right down the street. They have a large selection of fried and baked seafood options, along with a good ice cream shop.
