The Big E

It's that time of the year again!

The Big E is an annual event that begins on the second Friday after Labor Day and runs for 17 days. During that time you can watch concerts, visit with vendors from all over the Northeast, shop unique products, ride carnival rides, and of course eat the best food around. It's a massive fair that regularly brings in over 100,000 people a day. Some of the highlights include:

-A circus
-Daily parade
-Animal demonstrations and exhibits
-Free and paid concerts
-The avenue of states: Each state house features foods, drinks, and products unique to that state
-Beer gardens
-100s of food vendors
-A massive midway with dozens of rides
-Buildings full of unique products from around the region
-And much more!

Daily tickets are $17.50 in advance or $20 at the gate. Parking is $10 (cash only) at Gate 9, and nearby private lots provide parking as well for $20-$30.
