Don't you love those last minute friends you can text to hangout on a whim? To go enjoy a beer with, or each lunch on a beautiful day at Tanner Park. Or go to the pool with on a hot summer day?
Well this is the group for you! A group focus more on building a community of friends that are also your neighbors. A group where the events are in the neighborhoods of Ward 5 and supports the local parks and businesses. So come join your neighbors as we get to know our neighborhood.
And if you come to a few events, and happen to meet your next best friend, well that is just the icing on the cake!
In the beginning most of our events will be centric to neighborhoods surrounding NoMa, Rhode Island, Brookland metro stations ( Eckington, Brentwood Union Market Brookland, Bloomingdale Edgewood, etc) as this is where the group hosts are located. (WARD 5) However as we grow and their is more group interests we can always expand!
