📢 Upcoming Hike: Top of the World via Canyon Acres Trail 🥾🌄

Our next adventure is set! Join us for a hike to the Top of the World via Canyon Acres Trail in Laguna Beach. This trail offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Laguna Canyon and the Pacific Ocean.

Trail Details:

• Distance: Approximately 2.5 miles out-and-back
• Elevation Gain: Around 890 feet
• Difficulty: Challenging; the trail is steep and can be strenuous.
• Estimated Duration: About 1 hour and 38 minutes to complete.

Meeting Point & Time:

• Date: 02/16/2025
• Time: 9:00 AM (try to arrive 10 minutes early to say hi and connect)
• Location: Trailhead at the end of Canyon Acres Drive, Laguna Beach

Parking: Parking near the trailhead is limited. It's advisable to park in metered spots or parking lots a few blocks away and walk to the trailhead.

What to Bring:

• Water: At least 1 liter; stay hydrated!
• Footwear: Sturdy hiking shoes or boots (preferably waterproof in case of mud)
• Sun Protection: Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen
• Trekking Poles: Optional but helpful for the steep sections
• Snacks: Light refreshments for energy
• Attire: Comfortable, moisture-wicking clothing

Additional Notes:

• Weather: Check the forecast and dress appropriately
• Trail Etiquette: Be courteous to fellow hikers and bikers; the trail can be busy
• Wildlife: Keep an eye out for local fauna, but maintain a respectful distance

This hike is a fantastic opportunity to challenge ourselves and enjoy some of the best views Orange County has to offer. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
