Labor Day Monday meet & greet picnic (volleyball) @ Kickerillo Park

Let's meet on Labor Day monday for fun beginners level sand volleyball at Kickerillo Mischer Preserve. Meet at the back of the park near the restrooms and you will see the volleyball court. Bring tennis shoes and snacks and water. This will also be a meet & greet picnic for anyone that wants to meet the group. Playing volleyball is optional. The sand here is not soft so bring tennis shoes.

1. Do not spike the ball directly at another player. If you want to score that badly even at the cost of injuring another player, this is not the group for you.
2. Make every attempt to not run into other players and respect your teammates’ space. Some players have been hitting balls that are clearly in the space of their teammates. When you do this you can hurt someone. I recommend saying “I got it” or "mine" so that your teammate can back off.
3. Don’t touch the net! If you touch the net there’s a good chance you will make contact with someone on the other team and could step on their feet or knee them.
4. In between games, do not practice spiking the ball when other people are waiting on the sidelines talking. This is not safe!
