This talk and discussion will show you how Prof Jack Sim created a global movement that brought toilets to 2.5 billion people, 110 millions toilets in India,raised USD 12 billion in Brazil and clean up all public toilets in China.
About Jack Sim:
A World Economic Forum Schwab Fellow and Agenda Contributor, Singularity Expert, Founder at World Toilet Organization, and founder of BOP HUB, Jack is a storyteller for Social Change, and has worked tireless to provide a better life for millions/ billion of people around the world. He has been a role model for many world activists and global impact changers. Jack Sim has been a leading social entrepreneur and sanitation advocate who broke the taboo around toilets by bringing the sanitation crisis to the global media spotlight. Known for his unique efforts in combining humour and serious facts to advocate for improved sanitation conditions globally, Sim has mobilized a global movement involving governments, policy makers, UN agencies, international civil society, thought leaders and activists to work together in addressing the sanitation crisis. Sim has received worldwide recognition for his contributions to the field of social entrepreneurship and sanitation.
