‘The Farm’ is the ALTERNATE location during home games at Storm Stadium.
Monday Games – April 9th, May 7th,28th, June 4th,11th
Wednesday Games – April 9th ,11th , May 9th ,16th ,June 13th
When the Storm has a game we will be meeting at ‘The Farm’ for our walk. It’s easy to find just off Bundy Canyon Road on Harvest Way (see address above for GPS). We have several routes to walk in this residential roads and trails. Happy hour follows, as usual, at the pond behind the Farm Barn.
This hike has become a weekly EVENT cross posted with the Walking Winos. The plan is to meet at 6:00 pm in the back parking lot of the Lake Elsinore Diamond Baseball Stadium. We'll hike along the 30 feet wide, flat levee that separates Lake Elsinore and the wildlife wetland for up to 5 miles to the peninsulas that stick out into the lake. The levee is impossible to get lost on, so hikers may begin later, or hike much less than the more motivated hikers. They have signs that tell you distance so you can walk as far as you'd like then back the same route.
When we finish hiking the fun part begins. Bring a chair, drinks and favorite happy hour appetizer to share. This has really become a weekly social get together outdoors...very fun group of regulars so join us.
Directions: I-15 to Lake Elsinore, exit Diamond Drive/Railroad Canyon. Go west towards the lake on Diamond Drive about 1/2 mile. Turn right before the stadium on Pete Lehr St. Turn left onto the street behind the stadium and quickly turn left into the parking lot. Turn right in the parking lot and park by the hedges.
