What we’re about
Extraordinary Talkers (f/k/a NYU + City Hall Toastmasters) is a place where you develop and grow - both personally and professionally. You join a community of learners, and in Toastmasters meetings we learn by doing. Whether you're an executive or a stay-at-home parent, a college student or a retiree, you will improve yourself; building skills to express yourself in a variety of situations. You'll open up a world of new possibilities: giving better work presentations; leading meetings - and participating in them - more confidently; speaking more smoothly off the cuff; even handling one-on-one interactions with family, friends and colleagues more positively.
Join us today and make sure to RSVP for our next event!

Toastmasters is where leaders are made! Come practice your public-speaking skills in a no-pressure environment.
Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs.
Do you want to practice public speaking, improve your communication and build leadership skills? With Toastmasters, you can break barriers, not your budget.
A Toastmasters club is at the heart of your journey. It’s the place you and other members meet to practice, learn, grow, mentor and share. It’s important to find one that’s right for you, and it’s okay to visit a few before joining one.
Like all Toastmasters club meetings, we mix in prepared speeches, evaluations, and Table Topics (impromptu speeches). Each meeting encourages members and guests to participate in a variety of good roles such as timer, ah-counter and grammarian.
We are always open to the public. We meet every 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month.
This meeting will be hybrid (In-person + Zoom).
Please note that RSVP'ing on Meetup does not guarantee you a spot.
