Climbing Mt. Rainier

We have needed to move this outing to the first weekend of August in order to accomodate a greater number of folks that we have signed up through our "friends" email list and through Facebook.

Have you ever wanted to climb Mt Rainier. It's a fantastic challange that will push your mental and physical limits but provide you with one of the most rewarding experiences that you will have.

We are looking to take up to four people who have either climbed Mt. Rainier in the past, or have not but have knowledge and experience with alpine climbing (above the trees)

There is no charge to this excertion but you will need to purchase the necessary gear for making a successful climb. We will provide you with a list of provisions and equipment needed. You also need to be proficient with a couple of different climbing knots as well as how to self-rescue. If you are not currently proficient with these we can help you with this as well.

We will likely leave from Bellevue and we have a couple of rigs that can take everyone and their gear. We will leave for Mt Rainier around 6:30am so as to get out on the road before the real traffic begins and we will return Sunday evening.
