Overnight Trip - Lake Colchuck and Ingalls Lake

Details

I would love to do Lake Colchuck and Ingalls Lake in the earlier summer. Both locations are breathtaking. Both hikes are longer but fantastic and both locations are pretty far out there for doing as a day hike and then get every body back at a decent time.

So, here is the proposal. Let's do these magnificent places together on back-to-back days and stay the night in Leavenworth.

The least expensive place that I have found thusfar in Leavenworth is the FairBridge Inn & Suites, 185 US Hwy 2, Leavenworth, WA 98826, (509) 548-7992, leavenworthfairbridge.com (http://www.leavenworthfairbridge.com/)

Their on-line price for the night of Wednesday June the 28th is $95. Their google ad also states, cosy rooms & suites in a relaxed hotel with free breakfast, WiFi & an indoor heated pool. There are also lots of options for dinner in Leavenworth, unlike places the Peshastin, Cashmere or Dryden and Wenatchee is to far out of the way.

On the first day we can do Lake Colchuck (http://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/colchuck-lake) and then on Thursday we can do Lake Ingalls (http://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/lake-ingalls). Both of these hikes are a little longer, 8.0 and then 9.0 miles and carry a little more elevation gain than we normally do 2280 and 2500 but I'll tell ya both are sooo worth it!!! And we don't have to be anywhere quick so we can take our time.

Hopefully, if we do these hikes in the early summer the weather will be nice without being scorching hot.

Rideshare will be $20 per person. I'll leave to everyone to get their own rooms. I'm sure that room share is permissible

Let me know if you have any questions.
