Let's get together to chat about bitcoins, blockchains and smart contracts. It doesn't matter what your background is. If you are curious and what to learn more, have questions that you want answered or want to meet with others in this industry then come along. All welcome.

5:45pm: Talk 1 - Proof of Stake (PoS) consensus on the blockchain.

PoS has been mentioned a few times in past meet ups in particular relating to Ethereum's. Here Sean will explain PoS and compare it with PoW followed by audience discussion.

6:05pm: Talk 2 - Intro to KiwiBank Fintech Accelerator
Presenter: Brett Holland, Head of Acceleration, CreativeHq
Creative HQ has recently launched New Zealand’s first FinTech Accelerator.
The accelerator programme commences in February next year 2017. Applications are now open to interested entrepreneurs throughout New Zealand.
