An Evening with `Still Game's Paul Riley
Details
I am a fan of 'an audience with' type events and also 'Still Game', the comedy series.
When I noticed this event on at the Gosforth Civic Centre in October, I had to book a ticket and thought best make the group aware, in case any like minded members would like to join me.
BAFTA award winning actor/ comedian Paul Riley will be appearing in a very special ‘evening with’ event at the Gosforth Civic Theatre in Newcastle.
Bringing an evening of fun, laughter and memories of his 30-year TV career and an opportunity for the audience to ask anything they’ve ever wanted about the iconic Still Game!
Paul Riley is of course best known for his role as Winston Ingram in the Scottish sitcom, Still Game. However, previously he had worked on Chewin’ the Fat, the sketch show from which Still Game was spun-off. Riley also starred in, wrote and directed Dear Green Place.
After 62 episodes, 21 years and a record-breaking run of live shows at the OVO Hydro, Paul will share stories of his time on the show playing the part of the much-loved Winston Ingram and lift the lid on some of the secrets that’s lead him to be one of Scotland’s most admired household names.
With off-the-cuff stand-up comedy, and meet and greet opportunities, ‘An Evening with Paul Riley’ promises to be the most hilarious night out for all Still Game fans!
Please note that for legal reasons, Paul is not able to appear as the character ‘Winston’.
