Kartarpur is a town located in the tehsil Shakargarh, Narowal District in Punjab, Pakistan. Located on the right bank of the Ravi River, it is said to have been founded by the first guru of Sikhism, Guru Nanak, where he established the first Sikh commune.

Recently, it attracts more tourist after the Govt of Pakistan opened a new corridors and renovated the Sikh pilgrimage in the area of 400 acres. A 52,000 sft covered area purpose made building to cater for speedy facilitation of pilgrims is being constructed. The building of Sikh temple is fascinating and treat to watch and it’s only 4km away from the Indian border.
