An introductory workshop for the Arduino*
We will be going through some basic applications with LEDs such as:
Blinking
Using a push button and a light sensor to turn on/off
Controlling brightness
Then we will look at other useful features such as:
Analog and digital input/output
serial port communication
*prior knowledge of programming and electronics are not required
Requirements are:
Arduino hardware (order here (http://www.robotshop.com/ca/arduino-uno-microcontroller-2.html) or with a local vendor (http://www.creatroninc.com/index.php/arddu-031366.html) located along College and Spadina (http://www.creatroninc.com/index.php/contact-us))
Development software (http://arduino.cc/en/Main/Software) installed in your computer (bring your computer)
USB cord that connects to your Arduino hardware ('A' to 'B' type connector)
Breadboard
Jumper wires for your breadboard
I can provide the LEDs, photoresistors and push buttons
