Build an Electronics kit
Details
In first year post secondary it is common for student to build a simple model kit in order to learn basic electronics and soldering. There are wide variety of kits avaible for sale.

Location to follow. Toronto library has classrooms that can be booked, which are well suited for WeBuildWeDesign.
What the meeting would consist of is small group of individual, each individually working on projects. And in combination helping each other.
Tools can be shared, please comment on tools you will to bring, if you have solder and soldering iron please bring

In this picture there is the blue circuit board, a speaker, a 9volt battery connector, LED( lights), resistors, capcitors, an Intergrated circuit, and others. These are basic electronic compents they are solder on to the back of the board. I Learn to solder using this kit first year electronic class. It takes about 2-3 hours. For those who have nevered solder before it can be time consuming. If you have no experience soldering and want a kit to purchase and learn this would be a good choice. Tools and solder would be provide to build a kit of this description.

A general supply of tools will be available, and solder. In particular solder iron(two iron from myself, and solder. My experience with soldering and electronics is about one year college, thats not an expert. If there are others in the group who have tools, and expertise please contribute. My level of expertise in not expert the group is designed to be a mutaul learning experience.
