Solidworks is an indemand software we can also discuss where to take courses.

Project Mastercam software. Mastercam Lathe. 30 min project doing a tool path. We will create a cylinder object that looks like the stanley cup. Software is on the same lines of Solidworks.

For next and fall meetings there is going to different approach. The meeting will provide a space for those to come together and build.

Please Please bring Projects to build.

A space and location will be provided. With collection of communal tools, listed below. Think of it as a classroom for build your projects with free bench space.

As each meeting will have a focus assignments and projects if you like, but the focus will meeting to come together design and build in a meetup setting.

What the meeting would look like think of class along with a collection of tools and hardware with benches and tables, therepeople can together and build there projects you may have soldering and power supply, or drilling a hard drive something creative like your fitness equipment something I have done. It will be new and different crafts for meetup.

Just bring a diagram or an idea as group we can work to gther give ideas about how to create and design, Just a diagram on paper.

Just a reminder anyone is welcome to do meeting of there own, one has been done before. Completely on your own, or with help from other or myself.

The machinist meeting went well. Mainly consisted of demstration of the caliper and Micrometer the staple of machinist. And drilling and filing metal. An individual brought Computerized Machinist work for display, another had an idea about bike rack/pull up bar. I have put instructions about custom dumbell there on the site. We talk about technical writing.

It was good for first meeting 5 confirm yes, first meetup thats good. Few should start the meeting.

For next focus how about I thought Carpentery work. The meeting will be general, for lack of better basic. Have quite decide agenda. But box making, hand planed spindal, dove tail( I learn that first week in Fine Carpentary, or perhaps curve of some kind. More details to follow.

Ideas for the meeting more than welcome. In addition to carpentary. Discussion should be a focus. Discussion of members project ideas sounds like a good idea, like discussion of a bike rack, web page, a member had an idea of creating custom tomato planter. Future meetings to follow. Ideas welcome.

FYI Information

The site is a open room with tables(4X8) and chairs, wi fi available, very nice site with ofcoarse normal power outlet.
