Houston iPhone Developers' Meetup Monthly Meetup

Guys,

We will be meeting at ChaiONE's offices this month. Ben Scheirman kindly volunteered to host us while we look for a more permanent location. Thanks Ben!

Join us this month for a presentation on AFNetworking, an HTTP library for common tasks such as interacting with web services, downloading and parsing JSON/XML and more. It uses Objective-C blocks for convenience, and NSOperation internally for concurrency.

We will also have time to do another round of showcases of applications built by our members. The way it works is that each person will get 10-15 minutes to show off a bit of iOS development work (either published apps, or still in progress). Get in touch if you would like to be involved!

We will start the meeting at 7pm, but will start some networking around 6:30pm.
