Runes & Norse Magic Study
Details
The Runic Alphabet also known as Elder Futhark is a series of symbols that represent ideas like wealth, strength, health, gifts, and needs (to name just a few). Quite literally, the Germanic word rún translates to 'secret' or 'secret language'.
While the runic letters were used to communicate with others, they were also used as a way of communicating with the Gods, and as an amazing divination tool. Each rune has a specific meaning, not unlike the meanings assigned to tarot or Lenormand cards.
During these classes, we will cast the runes and use the reading for both divination and learning. The topics will depend on the runes drawn and the background of their use.
We will also have a "Rune of the Day" as a special focus.
This class is for you if you wish to learn

- Who is who in the Norse pantheon

Pati and Shivomir have a deeply personal relationship with the runes and Nordic shamanism. They have spent the last two decades practicing the runes and connecting with the spiritual realm of the ancient Nordic lineage. A lot of what you are going to hear comes from personal experiences and a lot of reading. Pati and Shivomir are enthusiasts of living archeology and they reconstruct the Viking period.
