Basic Photo series - Mastering Exposure

Details
Master your Photography - Part 1
This will be the first of a series on the craft of photography. In order to take your creative photography where you want it to go you MUST master the technical aspects of the medium. Although the methods may differ this is as true in digital as it was with film.
I can't tell you how fulfilling it is to be in technical control so you can CREATE beautiful pictures rather than just try and TAKE beautiful pictures with your fingers crossed.
This is your first big step down that pathway to creativity! This is a VERY popular workshop.
Technical issues covered:
- Exposure - Learning how the three elements of exposure come together creatively.
ISO, aperture and shutter speed in the right combinations are key to creating great images.
- Mastering pre-visualization - To create what you dream
In this first session we will focus (pardon the pun) on exposure. I will discuss the three elements of exposure, often referred to as the "Exposure Triangle" and how you can create beautiful images by understanding how these three elements work together and mastering this technique.
You will learn about why using your camera always on "P" is not going to get you the best images. I will demonstrate the differences you can create by bravely roaming over into the realm of MANUAL exposure or using your camera's Aperture/Shutter priority options.
Included in this workshop is a three video tutorial set that I created called Mastering Photography - Your guide to perfect digital exposures" These popular videos explain in detail how your camera's light meter "thinks" and how by understanding that you can master your exposure in any lighting situation by understanding and reading the histogram. The three video series is 90 minutes long and sells on my site on DVD for $40. Those that attend this workshop will receive the three video set FREE. Think of it as your homework! Once you register I will send you a discount coupon for $40 off.
We will meet in the parking lot at Travel Town (the main entrance, not the kids area) and after my demonstration we will walk around taking pictures. I will be demonstrating these techniques. You will then use the techniques with my over view to create some of your own pictures.
