WE'RE REALLY BACK!!! And Riding to Confluence Park!
Details
You're invited to join our 9:00 am Saturday morning group ride starting from and ending at Planet Cyclery Broomfield. The average pace will be between 13 and 14 miles per hour and the ride will last approximately three hours. We'll explore some of the local bike paths and experience some residential riding as well. The ride leaves the store every Saturday morning and is a "No Rider Left Behind" ride. Come out and join our ride leaders, for some fun outdoors.
This is truly a "No Drop Ride"! If you are new to the area and want to learn some biking routes, or are just looking for a fun, supportive group, join us this Saturday. Our ride leaders will help with mechanical problems and provide riding advice. We usually have from 15-25 riders.

38 Miles and 1400 Feet Climbing
We had a great ride last week so this week...we are pulling out all stops and RIDING TO CONFLUENCE PARK for a Starbucks! (Now some of you have pointed out that there are Starbucks a lot closer, but you just don't understand...it's about the BIKE!)
We will still be following a few precautions:
-We will be limiting capacity inside the shop before and after the ride to allow for distancing with our staff and each other. (Fill your water bottles at home.)
-Anyone entering the shop will need a face covering.
-We will move the signup area to outside the door.
-When stopped, maintain social distancing.
-If you require mechanical assistance on the trail, wear your mask while we are working on your bike.
This Saturday morning is looking like perfect cycling weather, but a little warmer than last week. The route is a fun 38 miles with just a few hills. Plan on stopping at the deck in front of Starbucks for a little break. This route is a combination of trails and roads, so bring your lights. Confusing...no problem...just hang with the group.
We really welcome new riders to our group. So if you are new to the area or are just looking for a friendly bunch of riders, come give us a try...THROW CAUTION TO THE WIND. Come and ride this Saturday and bring a friend. YOU SAY YOU DON'T HAVE ANY FRIENDS...NO PROBLEM, we will supply you with a couple of dozen free of charge!!!
Things to bring: a FACE MASK, your bike, helmet, full water bottle, spare tube and a friendly attitude. Front and rear lights add to safety. I'll have mine!
LET'S LEAVE THE IN-THE-EAR HEADPHONES HOME. We will be riding in a group and need all of our senses to keep us safe!!!
As Always, stop by the shop prior to Saturday for a free bike safety check!!!
Let's be aired up and ready to go at 9:00 am.
Larry
