Composition Workshop - Atlanta Botanical Gardens

Details
In 1973, Atlantans proposed a botanical garden. Since then, the garden has flourished into an oasis just outside of Atlanta, a place for city-dwellers to find repose in natural surroundings. The gardens include a myriad of flowering plants, all incredibly and intricately detailed. Learn to isolate a blossom, using depth of field to make sure it is in clear focus.
This is opening weekend for the 2018 Imaginary Worlds display!! That, and many beautiful spring blooms to focus on!
This is a bit short notice due to an opening in an otherwise closed class schedule. Weather is going to be awesome and we're going to have TWO instructors there to help you! Join me, Ken Ross, and Elton Saulsberry for a fun and informative workshop overflowing with tips, techniques and composition strategies in this one-of-a-kind Atlanta treasure.
This 3hr workshop will be for all skill levels as we'll be covering everything you need to create great images! We'll look at composition (of course) and photography fundamentals like Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, metering modes, depth-of-field control, and more! Given the venue, you can also expect to pickup lots of tips on floral photography, including some Macro work.
Note: The Atlanta Botanical Gardens charges an $18.95 entrance fee and [approx.] $5 for parking (depending on how long you stay after class). You will be responsible for these fees - they are not included in the workshop fee.
