Beginners Ride Urban Style Hunters Creek

Details
Here it comes, after many requests and planning, we have come up with a time and a ride for those that may feel that Tuesdays and Thursdays urbans are a little too much. This will be held in the Hunters Creek area . Due to the trail location(Shingle Creek), environment and traffic patterns. We are looking forward to make this a great training and fun time to prepare you for the more advance rides. We will be riding parts of the Shingle Creek trail, Hunters Creek Country Club area, etc. The total ride time should not be more than 2 hrs. Let's get there by 5:45 pm so we can start riding by 6:00 pm. This is a no drop ride! (nobody left behind). We will try to keep an average speed of no less than 10 mph. (speed may be faster according to riders attendance) Remember to bring safety equipment (helmet, gloves, glasses, etc.) and water or whatever fluid you drink. Lights are required. This beginners ride is not a Sunday stroll!! This is training to get ready for the faster and longer Urbans. There will be changes in terrain (paved, grass, sand, curbs, small stairs, etc.) The pace will not be as fast one but a consistent one. We need to push harder in order to get further. Nobody will be left behind, but let's pedal to the next level. Have Fun! We can park beside the Ale House on John Young and Town Center. Behind the restaurant next to the Ale House. Thanks to all the riders that make it possible and fun!! Weather permitting! NOTE: if you are an experienced rider and want to help during this ride you will be more than welcome, but please take in consideration that the group should try to stay together and do not try stunts they do not feel comfortable or secure about it. THIS IS A BEGINNERS RIDE!
