Join WIGeh for “The Art of Interviewing” presentation followed by an open roundtable discussion about the role of women in the games industry of tomorrow at Lighthouse Labs*. Catering for this event, will be provided by the amazing local studio, East Side Games!

Presentation: Our featured speaker is a talent placement specialist in Vancouver who will be talking about "The Art of Interviewing". Crystal Henrickson* (Career Matchmaker at Talent Collective) will advise us on interview process do’s and don’ts and tips and tricks: how to land and nail the interview, salary negotiation, the follow-up, and other stressful or unexpected challenges you may encounter while landing your first position. Learn insider tricks and tactics to set yourself apart in your job interviews, in the highly competitive tech sectors. There will be Q&A during and after the presentation.

Round Table: Discuss where you think Vancouver’s game industry is headed and what roles women fear, expect, choose, and want to have in that vision. Come prepared to ask questions and spark conversations with women across multiple disciplines in the industry.
