Development Date Night - Join Women in Games at Lighthouse Labs for a night of showcasing creative works by females in the Gaming + Tech Industries.

Evening's Festivities:

6:00pm - An introductory presentation showcasing the projects on display and their presenters

6:20pm - An open floor of demos and presentations. Female artists, game developers and portfolios will be available for demos, feedback and sharing.

Projects being presented this evening:

"Iron Tides" - Iron Tides is a single-player adventure-strategy game for the PC, that follows the voyages of a Viking warband as they sail into unforgiving seas. Explore a 3D isometric world rich with procedurally generated islands, dangerous enemies, and foreign plunder. Presented by Crash Wave Games. http://irontides.com/

"Planet Robox" - How do robots with OCD explore the universe? In order! In this mobile game, master circuit puzzles by moving and rotating your team of Robox to to distribute energy, add new levels and extend your realm. Build Robox factories across planets, hunt out the destructive Noi, and defend your world against their chaos.

"Love Shy" - An "otome"/reverse harem dating simulation based on personal experiences with social anxiety and the building of relationships. Two parts truth, one part fantasy. The project aims to empower those who are or have been bullied.

"The Low Road" - Set in the 1970s automobile world, "The Low Road" is an episodic point-and-click graphic adventure series which follows a team of corporate spies dedicated to the protection (and appropriation) of game-changing industry secrets. Sporting a unique visual style inspired by gouache paintings and a pulsating experimental score, "The Low Road" will captivate players though intricate puzzles, branching moral dilemmas, and a quirky cast of memorable characters. Virtual Reality Game Demo - Planets all over the galaxy are in need of creature re-population! Travel through systems in your rocket ship lab making Mutato species needed to save the planets. Grab a Mutato in each hand and bop them together to create unique offspring in this VR room scale experience for the HTC Vive. The game is planned for release on steam in 2016.

"Lumote" - Lumote is 3D puzzle platformer that challenges you to overcome your fear of what lurks in the shadows. Art Portfolio - Bonnie's portfolio was created through 3 years of hard work at the Capilano University's IDEA program, where she focused on illustration and graphic design. Graduating in 2014 she now works in the social gaming industry and puts her illustration and design skills to good use.
