Schedule
6:30 PM: Doors open. Get some food and drinks before the talks.
7:00 PM: Markdown my friend, we have to talk - Rouven Wessling (Contentful)
Most people have discovered that WYSIWYG editors are not the best idea when you're dealing with content at scale. Their end format is neither reusable nor portable to other platforms. That said – should we "markdown all the things", or not?
Let's have a look at all the things Markdown is great at, evaluate rough edges and have a look at alternatives.
Rouven is a Developer Evangelist at Contentful
7:30 PM: Build web applications cheaper and faster - Tomas Billborn (Rebel&Bird)
Tomas will discuss using several standalone microservices, including Gatsby, Contentful, and Azure to help develop a new web application for Parks and Resorts, owner of many amusement parks in Sweden. Ultimately, the new architecture has made site faster to surf, faster to launch new versions, and cheaper to maintain.
Tomas is a frontend developer at Rebel&Bird.
8:00 PM: Have some more drinks and food
