Roundtable C* Data Modeling (Part 1)

Let's all get together and run a boardroom style round table where we data model 1-3 types of problems, if time permits.

In other words...

1. A model which is more appropriate for a large volume of writes, e.g. receiving information from a public transportation grid

2. Another focused on a few writes and lots of reads, e.g. some broadcast information which is consumed for a large number of clients

3. A final optional one which could serve a more balanced scenario

What I would still like is for an actual set of real world ideas for the above mentioned scenarios.

Please come prepared with the C* installation on your local machine so that you can get some hands-on experience.
