Python Scrapy for social science

We'll present the python library: scrapy for extracting publicly available data from web-sites.

Scrapy can be used to extract a variety of interesting data to be used later on when studying some social phenomenon: from real estate offers to feedback comments.

We'll start from zero and build a simple scrapper bot. Talk will be in english or spanish depending on the audience.
