Let's Meet Up With Wallingford Public Library

Join craft enthusiast, Janelle Rosales, to explore the wonderful world of crochet! Together, we will learn a bit about its history and try out different styles of this unique fiber art. For our first workshop, we will create custom Pride Heart Keychains in the Amigurumi style to celebrate Pride Month and show appreciation for all things LGBTQ+. No previous experience required. Supplies will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.

In antici...pation of Rocky Horror’s 50th anniversary you are invited to our very first Rocky Horror Picture Show shadow cast!

In the 1975 cult classic, sweethearts Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon), stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry), a mad scientist. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a cast of wild characters, including a rocking biker (Meat Loaf) and a creepy butler (Richard O’Brien), while watching Dr. Furter’s devious master plan unfold. As the audiences watches the film, live performers will act out each role in front of the screen and lead the audience in interactive callbacks! Prop bags will be included and costumes are welcomed and encouraged. We invite everybody to do the Time Warp with us!

(PLEASE NOTE: all attendees must adhere to the library’s dress code as outlined in our official Code of Conduct.) Attendees be 17 years or older.

Join us the last Tuesday of the month for an exciting night of trivia at Tap & Vine!

Quizmaster Rich Steeves will test your wits with five rounds of questions on a variety of topics, from General Knowledge to Science & Nature and a whole lot more.

Your team of 2-6 players will compete with other teams for fun prizes and, of course, bragging rights. So, if you like questions, answers, and the occasional corny joke, tell your friends, tell your enemies, tell everyone you know!
