In a Nutshell: Taking a Crack at Micro-Writing

This will be the first meeting of a small, supportive writing community for twenty-somethings. We’ll write fun, very short pieces using the form of blogs, diaries, fan fiction, micro fiction/Twitter Fiction, InstaPoetry, futurism, writing for creative self-care, zines… The meeting will be a series of short exercises to prompts. As a group, we’ll build creative practices for daily living. No writing experience is necessary.

This workshop will be led by Kathleen Stewart, a cultural anthropologist and writer with over 30 years of experience teaching writing all over the world. Registration is preferred; please RSVP through Meetup.
