Let's see if we can get another ride in before it gets too cold.

Hope you can join me as I take my ride down to Hyde Park and back. Our ride is going to be 38 or so miles (round trip), we will be riding at a moderate/fast pace of 12-15 miles per hour (depending on wind).

If you can not maintain a 12-15 mph pace, please do not RSVP for this ride.

Note: Parking is a plenty at Wilson. You can park in the lot and pay or on the perimeter for free.

Keep in mind that this is a weekend ride and there maybe a race and parking may be a challenge and you may have to park to the west of Lake Shore Drive.

Meet us at starting point at 9:45, sign off on CBG waiver.

We will start PROMPTLY at 10:00am.

We can meet you at other points along the trail:

Belmont, 10:15, @ parking lot entrance

North Ave, 10:25, @ Boathouse

Near Navy Pier, 10:35, just south of Beach (where Tri-Athletes swim)

Museum Campus, 10:45, @ bottom of hill

Ride to Turnaround Point, 71th Street (Chicago Cultural Center), 11:30

Ride North, Arrive at Wilson, Starting Point, 12:45

Proceed to Tweet for Brunch, 1:00

Please bring your helmet, a lock, your ID, a snack and some cash for Brunch. Tweet does not accept credit cards.

NO HELMET, NO RIDE!!

The weather is going to be cooler but great for a bike ride, remember your body will be about 20 degrees warmer while riding.

I will email everyone my phone number Friday (day before ride).

If the forecast calls for thunderstorms, I will cancel this ride.
