Albariño, Vouvray, and Rosés

It's summer time.

And it will be hot.

So I'm suggesting some of my favorite varietals: Albariño, Vouvray, and Vinho Verde, and any Rosé you'd like.

Please post (region, grape, year) in advance what you intend to bring. Otherwise bring one of the default grapes. I suggest buying the wine ahead of time.

A part of the evening will be blind tasting a few wines.

The rules: you bring a bottle of wine (minimum cost $10-20) + a modest appetizer (these can be olives, cheese, and crackers, pate, or cold cuts). However, we encourage you to combine forces. And if you bring a lot of food, there is no need to brign a bottle.

It is better to get a single bottle at $25 plus some prosciutto with a friend rather than two $15 dollar bottles and a few crackers.

First Timers, $5 for the glass.

Suggested donation for the space, and a sparkler, is $10. This is not mandatory.

If you don't want to worry about a thing, bring $25 (+$5 for first timers). With this, l buy the wine and pizza for the group.

I may get the grill ready if you feel like it.
