What we’re about
Our group has a wide age group so whether you're 25 or 65 or feel like a 65yr old or 25yr old, WE HAVE SOMETHING FOR YOU. Singles, couples and friends are more than welcome to join any of our Meetups.
So if you're looking for a fun packed night out with friendly hosts and members then look no further than Fab Friends (Glasgow Socialisers).
From the many snazzy pubs, bars in the Cul-De-Sacs of Glasgow's West End, to the trendy bars of Glasgow's City Centre & Merchant City, even the odd GBX Night At The Savoy, or a Ceilidh Nite @The Avant Garde thrown in. We guarantee a brilliant night out..... So come and join in the fun!
Please feel free to suggest any Meetup that you, or any of our members might be interested in for future events. One of the event organisers will gladly host this subject to availability, or if you wish, make you event host for that evening.
Our group is free to join, and everyone is welcome, our meets are free to attend with exceptions, (you may be responsible to purchase your own ticket(s) to some meets, such as weekend breaks, some tribute nights, days away, etc).
Please only RSVP for a event if you can make it, otherwise change you status accordingly. No shows will be marked as such and repeated no shows will be reviewed. Hosts spend time looking out for, waiting for, and welcoming members to events. It's unacceptable to simply not turn up. No reason is required if you can longer attend, simply cancel your RSVP, hosts or organisers will not cancel RSVPs on your behalf so you may be marked as a no show even if you have commented otherwise.
Group Rules & Meetup T & Cs
Members who are inactive for a period of time may be removed - this way we encourage an active group.
Do not send unsolicited messages or emails to any of the members in the group without meeting them in person first, and only then with their permission - this is not a singles group although many members are. We are NOT a dating group or singles group (plenty of other websites out there for that).....
Organisers and event hosts are not responsible for the behaviour and conduct of group members. Group organisers will however try to mediate, if possible, for any issues that have arisen at an official group Meetup event within the times listed for the event. Members may be removed temporarily or permanently at organisers discretion.
As members of Meetup you have agreed to the Terms & Conditions https://help.meetup.com/hc/en-us/articles/360027447252
Harassment and bullying offline (extracted from T & Cs)
We want the Meetup site to be an online community where people are respectful and respected. Threatening or harassing behaviour on the Meetup site is incompatible with this and it is a violation of our Terms of Service.
Unfortunately, we cannot control activities that take place outside our platform. If another Meetup member is engaging in threatening, harassing, dangerous, or illegal activity, you should notify local law enforcement authorities and the group organizer.
You should also report this activity to Meetup directly at abuse@meetup.com.
Please feel free to message us if you wish any further information or questions on the group
