An evening of creative exploration where imagination, intuition, and craft come together. Expect gentle guidance, inspiring examples, and focused writing time in a supportive, intimate setting.

About your workshop
Awaken Your Inner Goddess is a creative writing workshop for women who want to tap into the power they already feel rumbling under the surface, and get it onto the page.

We use extracts from myths and women writers as creative fuel to spark ideas, open perspective, and help you write from a truer, bolder place You’ll experiment, play, and write without overthinking. By the end, you’ll have fresh work, a clearer voice, and a creative project you can continue working on.

What do you need for the session?
All you need is a notebook or laptop to write with.

About your host:
Joanne Bell’s short fiction, essays and poems have been published in literary magazines and anthologies worldwide. Her debut novel was shortlisted for the Agora Books work in progress prize, she has filmed spoken word for the BBC and was selected for Edinburgh International Book Festival’s emerging writer program. She is also the founder of Write to Thrive, soulful space for self-exploration through writing.

Fable is an English bookshop, cafe, and creative events space in Lisbon.
