Session 1 - Visualise Your Connections A Practical Guide to Power BI Graphs - Jake Duddy
Graphs are everywhere – from the intricate web of social networks to the scheduling algorithms on our devices. Yet, Power BI traditionally struggles with visualising graphs. Discover practical strategies for structuring your data and learn how to use Deneb to create compelling, interactive graph visualisations that reveal crucial relationships within your data.

About Jake
Jake Duddy specialises in Business Intelligence and Power BI. He administers a Power BI tenant and develops processes and tools to empower developers. Jake champions best practices, having established DevOps processes and robust admin monitoring solutions

Jake is an active member of the Fabric community. He shares his insights through his blog, evaluationcontext.github.io, where he shares his experiments and experiences with topics related to the Microsoft analytic stack. He is a Community Champion on the Fabric Forums, and he frequently presents at Power BI User Groups, sharing his knowledge with a broader audience.

Session 2 - Turbocharging your Power BI report with Power Platform - Neil Rowlands
We create an awesome report, share it with users and then think… how can I easily ask my users if this is providing the insight that they want? With Power Platform we can embed a simple canvas app into a Power BI report, store responses securely in Dataverse and use Power Automate to notify report authors. In this session Neil will deliver a whistle-stop tour of environments and solutions, creating Dataverse tables, creating a canvas app and embedding this into a Power BI report plus authoring a simple Power Automate flow.

Neil is a senior Power Platform and Power BI practitioner who specialises in process digitisation, workflow automation and reporting. Neil is also a highly qualified trainer with 13 Microsoft certifications, including Microsoft Certified Trainer. And he’s one of our very own regular attendees!!
