Session 2 - Automated Testing in Power BI - Sarah Abnett
Automated testing is a well-established practice in application development, but can it be leveraged effectively for Power BI?

Have you ever had a user report a greyed out 'Cannot display this visual' error in Power BI? In this session, we’ll explore why this happens and how to prevent it. We'll demonstrate how to quickly and programmatically run a large number of tests on your Power BI semantic model using the CAT testing tool. We will then fully automate these tests using Azure DevOps and check out the test results. We'll also discuss additional use cases, such as test-driven development.
