Session 1 -Who's Downloading your Data? Insider risk management meets Power BI - Victor Wingsing

Your dashboards are only as safe as the people who can open them. In this 40-minute session, we follow a departing employee's last week — viewing board reports, downloading .pbix files, exporting to Excel, and quietly downgrading sensitivity labels — and show how Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management turns each of those actions into a live alert, complete with a risk score and a user activity timeline.

Using the new Microsoft Fabric indicators, now generally available, we'll walk through the exact setup: enabling indicators, creating a data-leak policy in minutes, and reading the alerts an analyst would actually see. No coding, no theory — just a real tenant, real signals, and practical steps you can take back to your own organisation.

Session 2 - How and why I built "BI Buddy", the user-friendly AI companion for Power BI - Mathias Halkjær

In this session I go through my journey into AI and creating my own community-available AI harness for Power BI.
In an age and time where the world is overflowing with AI models, MCP, agent skills and the like, I wanted an easy way to get started that bridged the gap all the way to advanced use-cases, that’s how BI Buddy came to life.
