Session 1 - PowerBI Tips your future self will thank you for - Johnny Winter
You know that Power BI model you built six months ago? The one you're now too scared to open? This session is for that model — and the one you're about to build next.
We'll walk through a set of small, unglamorous habits that make the difference between a Power BI solution that's a pleasure to maintain and one that's a liability. None of them are advanced. None of them will make your report look flashier. But they're the difference between a solution your future self — or the poor sod who inherits it — can actually work with, and one that gets quietly rebuilt from scratch the first time something breaks.
Expect live demos, some public flogging of bad practices I've personally committed, and a checklist you can start using the moment you're back at your desk.

Session 2 - Architecture in the Age of AI - Neil Rowlands
Microsoft is embedding AI into every layer of their products. If it can gather requirements, design solutions and write code, what is left for architects, analysts and consultants?
In this session, user group leader Neil Rowlands use lessons from past tech revolutions to show why writing software was never the hard part
As the agent-tooling landscape is reshaping how we build, who really owns the consequences? Our roles don’t disappear- they evolve. Because in the Age of AI, implementation becomes abundant and judgment becomes scarce
