RSVPs incur a booking (admin) fee and deposit: this is due to restaurant policies, to deter no-shows, and to help cover some Meetup subscription costs. This helps ensure reliable attendance and helps to book exclusive events so that no one is left out of pocket. No-shows and last-minute cancellations may be removed from the group.
