I've chartered a boat with Wild Side Speciality Tours and we're going on an ocean adventure! This is a 3+ hour boat trip swimming with wild dolphins, whale watching and snorkeling in the pristine waters off the Waianae Coast.
I've been out with them before and found it a magical experience!

PLEASE NOTE: This event has been rescheduled due to rough weather conditions. It's now on Sunday, March 8th. We have two seats available on the boat, so if you've been thinking about it, now's the time to jump in!

We'll meet at the Waianae Boat Harbor at 11:15 a.m. For those who wish we can carpool from Kailua and Honolulu.
There's a restroom on board and shaded areas to sit and enjoy the ride.
Not everyone will want to get in the water and snorkel and that's fine. No pressure. There will be so much to enjoy on this trip!
Cold drinks and snacks are provided, as well as snorkel gear.

Cost is approximately $200/person (with tax and fees) made directly to Wild Side under, "Skye's Charter".
Please email Tori at Wild Side to make your reservation:

Please register and pay for your space on the tour first, then rsvp here on meetup.

Here's what they have to say:
"Join us for Best of the West, a small-group ocean wildlife experience along Oʻahu’s stunning west coast—designed for comfort, learning, and authentic connection with nature.
This early-morning cruise takes place aboard a smooth, stable catamaran with cushioned seating, shade, snacks, and an onboard restroom. Led by marine naturalists and biologists, the tour focuses on respectful wildlife observation and storytelling rather than crowds or scripted entertainment.
Snorkeling will be offered if conditions are calm, but it is completely optional. Many guests choose to remain onboard, relax, and enjoy watching whales, dolphins, sea turtles, seabirds, and dramatic coastal scenery.
If you enjoy early mornings, uncrowded spaces, and learning about Hawaiʻi’s marine life in a thoughtful, unhurried way, this is a memorable and rewarding way to spend a morning on the water."
